Using Axial Configurator

The Axial Configurator Screen

The Axial Configurator screen is used to select from Nuaire's range of axial flow fans and contains greater selection options than are availble whilst selecting fans from the ranges in the standard Fan Selections screen.

Note! Some axial fan ranges are not selectable through Axial Configurator, you will find these listed in the ranges on the standard Fan Selections screen.

The screen is split into three distinct areas, across the top of the screen (1) you select the type of axial fan required based on its application, standard ambient, smoke, OEM etc.

The left-hand side of the screen (2) contains the selection parameters such as duty point, environmental conditions and compliance options.

The right-hand side of the screen (3) is further split into a number of tabs where you can configure the options required on the fan.

As you selected different applications from the top of the screen, the options displayed on the rest of the screen will vary to be applicable with that range.

After intering all you parameters, click the Search button (4) to select your fans. You can choose to return just the top N best fans based on your primary driver - price, weight, power, sound, efficiency, SFP, motor kW or duty point.

Your selections are then displayed in the standard Fan Selections screen. The standard selection controls in that screen will be hidden and replaced with a button to redisplay them, should you want to make non-Axial Configurator fan selections.
